What Is This About
This is about having fun. About exploring new ideas and pursuing
interests that we have held
for a very long time. Way back in the mid to late '80s we had
a band that, well obviously didn't
reach the charts, was a total enjoyment to work on. I must
say thanx to our drummer of the time,
Tombo. He was always the steady beat that drove
us along.
Now with the Internet at our disposal and the tremendous possibilities
of a digital audio workstation,
we can collaborate and put music togather even tho we are seperated
by states.
The first project to be worked on is 'Hell Musta Froze Over'...
it seems to be going slower than
first expected. But it is going a little better than expected.
I feel the deep need to get some good riff-age out into the world.
Its something I have always liked, and
am finding it harder and harder to find it.
All of the music we are making is done by sending the audio files back
and forth over the internet,
Since at this time our target audience is going to be internet based,
I believe that thru the compression and
decrompression of the audio files there will not be a 'large' amount
of noticable quality loss. The mixing
will be done for the internet audio formats. Of coarse...
this can change as I am always pursuing better
equipment and methods. There will almost always be a good quality
stereo mp3 of each song located
somewhere so that one may listen at a better level.
